Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Din Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Wrestler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas comes to the cage accompanied by Two Steps from Hell. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Din Thomas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brock Wrestler! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Mauricio Rocha and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thomas displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Thomas looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Nice sprawl there from Wrestler as Thomas shoots in. Thomas bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wrestler's head. Thomas shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wrestler defends it nicely. Thomas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wrestler's waist but Wrestler gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Thomas off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Din Thomas. That's going to take a lot out of him. No luck for Thomas with that takedown attempt. Thomas has his takedown stuffed and Wrestler counters by moving into the clinch. Wrestler effectively controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thomas drops down looking for an ankle pick but Wrestler pulls his leg out and moves away.
Thomas fails with the takedown and Wrestler holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Wrestler prevents a takedown attempt there.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Thomas has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Wrestler after a bit of a struggle. Wrestler is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Brock Wrestler. Thomas bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Thomas controls the position. Wrestler prevents Thomas from improving position. Thomas misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Wrestler is letting Thomas control him for a moment. Thomas advances to full mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wrestler looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Thomas is fending him off so far but Wrestler persists. Nope, Thomas circles away and we're back to standing. Thomas fails with the takedown. Wrestler gets caught flat footed, as Thomas shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Wrestler controlling the position. Thomas's corner is telling him to maintain position. Thomas has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Wrestler closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Din Thomas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

The fighters circling - Wrestler throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Thomas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wrestler tries to avoid it but Thomas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wrestler to the ground. Wrestler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Wrestler darts in trying to clinch and Thomas counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Wrestler thinking. Thomas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wrestler's waist but Wrestler gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Thomas off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Din Thomas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Thomas scores with a hook. Thomas fails with the takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thomas connects with a jab. Thomas swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Wrestler. Thomas is looking to clinch but Wrestler is avoiding it.
Thomas fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Wrestler stuffs the takedown. Thomas shoots for a double leg takedown but Wrestler sprawls well. He's pushed Thomas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Thomas swats away the attempt to clinch by Wrestler. Thomas has a takedown stuffed.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thomas fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wrestler. Thomas looks for a takedown but Wrestler sprawls well. Thomas fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Thomas with a lazy takedown attempt and Wrestler counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Thomas's guard now. Wrestler not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Wrestler trying to control but Thomas is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wrestler is fighting to break Thomas's control of his arms but Thomas is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Brock Wrestler hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Thomas tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wrestler sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Thomas somewhat. Wrestler moves in looking to clinch but Thomas pushes him off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Din Thomas dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Thomas dives in and grabs Wrestler's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wrestler pushes down on Thomas's head and hops out. Wrestler tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Thomas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wrestler as he jumps to the side. Wrestler keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Thomas shoots for a double leg takedown but Wrestler sprawls well. He's pushed Thomas's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Thomas has a takedown stuffed. Wrestler bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Thomas manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Thomas gets back to full guard.
Thomas has control of Wrestler's left arm, preventing Wrestler from doing any damage. Thomas working for a triangle but Wrestler defends it easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wrestler is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Wrestler tries to free his leg and advance position but Thomas is retaining full guard. Thomas working a defensive guard here.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Thomas seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Thomas manages to escape and get back to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Din Thomas wasn't doing enough on the ground. Thomas catches Wrestler with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Wrestler takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Wrestler shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Thomas keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Thomas is working hard here to advance position.
And that's the end of the fight! Din Thomas showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Thomas, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Din Thomas! Din Thomas decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
