The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nice sprawl there from Wrestler as Thomas shoots in.
Thomas bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wrestler's head.
Thomas shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wrestler defends it nicely.
Thomas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wrestler's waist but Wrestler gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Thomas off to one side.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Brock Wrestler hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Thomas tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wrestler sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Thomas somewhat.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Thomas, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Din Thomas decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
