Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Hammerfeld (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Sorren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammerfeld comes into the arena with Epic - Faith No more blaring out of the sound system. Sorren has chosen Brain Freeze as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Hammerfeld!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matthew Sorren!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sorren clinches with his opponent.
Hammerfeld drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hammerfeld looking to stall.
Sorren has Hammerfeld pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Sorren pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hammerfeld tumbling to the mat - Sorren dives into Hammerfeld's guard.
Hammerfeld wants to sweep here but Sorren controlling him for the moment.
Sorren tries to stand but Hammerfeld is controlling from the bottom.
Hammerfeld pushes Sorren off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Sorren!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sorren drives through with a takedown into Hammerfeld's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Hammerfeld wants to stand and escape but Sorren is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sorren slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Sorren trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Sorren's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Hammerfeld is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sorren is aware though and is defending well.
Sorren trying to stand up but can't free himself from Hammerfeld's guard.
Sorren content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Hammerfeld has locked up a guillotine! Hammerfeld's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Sorren is holding on here and Hammerfeld must be using up a lot of energy. Sorren has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Hammerfeld gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Tony Hammerfeld!
