Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Varshik Gerich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gerich comes to the cage accompanied by Drugwhore. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ryan King!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gerich tries to clinch but King moves out of range.
Gerich really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
King lands a jab to the nose.
Gerich looks to land a combination but King avoids it well.
King has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Gerich.
Gerich looks for the body kick but King saw that one coming.
A head kick from Gerich lands but King takes it in his stride.
King ducks right into an uppercut from Gerich.
Gerich fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and King has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
King shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Gerich swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and King connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
King takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Good work by King as he checks the leg kick.
Gerich lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Gerich moves to clinch but King breaks away
and King counters with a takedown into side control.

King trying to control the action but Gerich is working from the bottom.
King might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Gerich kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

King is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Gerich has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Gerich!
King has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

King has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gerich is working away from the top position though.

Gerich got a little sloppy there for a moment and King has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gerich has managed to get both his arms back between King's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

King wants to hit a switch here but Gerich passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for King there!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

A close round but Ryan King will probably get the nod.
That's time! Gerich's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

King shoots in for a double leg but Gerich sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gerich stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

The fight stays on the outside here - Gerich looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

No joy there for Gerich, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
King has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Gerich after a bit of a struggle.

King manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

and King cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

King is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gerich's half guard.
Gerich is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, King creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
King tries to break free but Gerich pushes him back against the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
King on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
King takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

and King counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Gerich wants to control but King is keeping busy and won't allow it.
King is taking a breather. Gerich says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
King wants to advance to full mount but Gerich doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
King wants to pass the guard but Gerich is keeping the position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as King accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Gerich wants to control the position but King says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

King passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Gerich!

King throws some wild stikes that Gerich manages to avoid easily.
King is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Gerich has managed to escape the submission attempt.

King lands a big elbow.
King wants to control the pace but Gerich is squirming around nicely.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gerich wants to improve his position but King is controlling well.
Gerich avoiding damage under a succession of punches from King.

King is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gerich doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time King.
King perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Gerich is defending against the submission attempts here by King.
King wants to pass to mount but Gerich is defending the position.

Ryan King comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think King has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
