Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Michael Lescott!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksandr Martynov and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yauch throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Yauch throws a jab when Lescott was well out of range.
Yauch throws an overhand right that lands on Lescott's shoulder, as Lescott tries to avoid the shot.
Lescott bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Yauch's head.
Yauch throws a predictable looking body shot

and Lescott counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lescott controlling the action here.
Yauch is trying to maintain the position but Lescott is very close to passing his half guard.
Yauch tries to roll over but Lescott keeps him under control.
Yauch looks like he's trying to stand up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lescott stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yauch swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Lescott on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yauch throws a leg kick but Lescott sees it coming and checks it nicely.

It looks like Michael Lescott has been cut.
Lescott takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Yauch stuns Lescott with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Adam Yauch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Yauch throws a looping overhand right but Lescott ducks down to avoid it.
Lescott ducks under a wild hook from Yauch.
Lescott seems to have recovered his senses.
A solid leg kick lands there for Yauch.

Yauch cracks Lescott with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Lescott falls to his knees and Yauch doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adam Yauch!
