Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tony Frost! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jack Judo! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Judo takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Frost throws a right hand that Judo ducks under and follows up with a left that Judo also avoids with ease. Judo closes the distance and clinches. Frost scores with a nice hook to the head. A head punch blocked on the inside by Frost. Frost stalling in the clinch but Judo improves position. Frost missing with knees to the body.
Judo blocks the elbow strike.
With the fighters up against the cage, Frost throws an elbow but misses. Frost throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Judo is trying to drag Frost to the mat but Frost just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Judo gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Judo won't allow Frost to sweep him here. Judo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Frost is keeping the position for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Judo throwing strikes but missing. Frost looking for a sweep. That's one minute gone in the round. Judo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Frost swivels though and keeps the full guard. Frost looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Frost trying to control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tony Frost. Judo gets cracked there but stands up to it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Judo. Frost throws a good cross that connects.

Frost gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Frost wants to sweep here but Judo controlling him for the moment. Judo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Judo wants to pass the guard but Frost is keeping the position. Judo loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Judo won't allow Frost to get back to his feet.

Judo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Frost looking for a sweep. Not yet Frost, not yet. Judo wants to pass the guard but Frost is keeping the position. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Judo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Judo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Judo stands and throws Frost's legs to the side, diving into side control. Judo is looking to take a break and control but Frost is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Judo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Frost has escaped the position, nice work there. Frost is trying to control Judo's posture but Judo avoids it. That's four minutes gone in the round. Frost gets back to half guard. Judo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Frost defends it well. Frost is controlling Judo's position as best he can from this difficult position. Judo stops Frost from getting back to his feet.
Judo wants to work for an arm triangle but Frost is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Judo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Judo seems to be working for a kimura but Frost defends the submission attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Judo dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Judo clinches up against the cage. Judo digs a right hand underneath Frost's ribcage. Frost let out a lung full of air as it connected. Judo blocks an uppercut.
Frost gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Judo.

Judo has Frost pressed against the cage, preventing Frost from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Judo is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Frost is defending well. Frost misses with the head strike.

Judo lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Judo prevents Frost from improving his position. Frost knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Judo on the ground.

Judo is looking to stall here but Frost recovers full guard. Frost looking to hit a scissor sweep but Judo is one step ahead there. Judo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Frost is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Frost has escaped and now he's on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Judo has his foot on Frost's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Frost works his way back into a safe position though. Frost stands up from guard. Let's bang! Judo clinches with his opponent.

Judo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Frost gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Frost got a little sloppy there for a moment and Judo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Frost has managed to get both his arms back between Judo's legs - danger averted. Frost wants to stand but Judo is controlling his posture from full guard. Frost looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Judo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frost preventing the sweep. Judo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Frost defends it easily. Judo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Judo keeping full guard, as Frost tries to pass. Frost trying to control the position from guard on top but Judo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Judo has his foot on Frost's thigh.
