Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Heller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Joe Heller has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Joe Heller seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joe Heller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Christopher Reyes! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heller swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Reyes moves out of range as Heller strikes. Heller scores with the left hand. Reyes knows he should have avoided that one. Reyes steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Heller. Heller throws a hook but Reyes avoids it easily. Heller fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Reyes scores with a one two! Heller had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Heller pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Heller shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Reyes pinned against the cage. Reyes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Heller shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Reyes but Reyes pushes him off and we're back to square one. Heller takes a swing at Reyes's ribcage but misses. Heller throws a left and a right that both miss
and Reyes counters with a nice body shot. Reyes fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Heller looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Heller shoots in for a takedown but Reyes shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Heller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Reyes displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Heller throws out the jab. Reyes throws a series of punches but Heller moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Heller swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Reyes counter with a right hand. Heller throws a jab when Reyes was well out of range. Reyes misses with a jab, cross combination.
A big left from Heller misses. Nice body punch from Reyes. Heller fails with the takedown. Some bone on bone action there as Reyes checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Reyes moves out of range as Heller strikes. Reyes lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Reyes lands a nice hook to Heller's body. Heller takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Heller is breathing heavily. Heller takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Heller shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Reyes tries to hold on but Heller postures up. Heller thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Heller misses with a head shot. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Heller looking to finish with strikes here!
Heller misses with a head shot. Heller throwing strikes but Reyes uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Reyes is trying to maintain the position but Heller is very close to passing his half guard. Heller is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Reyes misses with a wild combination.
Reyes is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Heller rather than just go for the knockout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reyes moves away from the strike by Heller. Heller throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Reyes counters with a lovely shot to the body. Reyes changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Heller misses with a straight right. A jab from Heller misses. Reyes connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Heller momentarily.
Heller feints and then cracks Reyes's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Reyes down. Joe Heller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Heller bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Heller tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Heller swings around for an armbar but Reyes sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Heller's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Heller is trying to control the position but Reyes postures up. Reyes stopping the sweep attempt from Heller. Heller bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Reyes's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Christopher Reyes dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Heller shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Heller looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Heller thows a huge punch but Reyes dodges it nicely.
Heller seems to be working for a kimura but Reyes defends the submission attempt. Reyes won't allow Heller to pass to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Heller is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Reyes is trying to control but can't.
Heller wants to pass to mount but Reyes is defending the position. Heller is tying to control. Reyes wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Heller closes this distance looking for a takedown but Reyes circles away. Heller shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Reyes works Heller's body with a nice hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Reyes lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Heller. Heller is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Reyes is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Reyes prevents Heller from improving position. Heller is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Reyes has escaped the position, nice work there. Heller in side control, throwing shots but Reyes defends.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Heller goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Reyes rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Heller's guard! Nice work there by Reyes! Heller working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Reyes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Reyes manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Heller looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Heller throws a couple of heel strikes.
Reyes won't allow Heller to sweep him here. Heller had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Reyes is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Heller Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Reyes's back instead. Heller has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Heller missing with strikes from the back. Reyes manages to reverse the position and now he's in Heller's guard. Nice work there by Reyes.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Heller working for submissions but it's allowed Reyes to get to half guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Joe Heller will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Reyes goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Reyes throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Reyes lands a nice shot to the body.
Jab, jab by Reyes - just one landing. Reyes thuds his right hand into Heller's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Reyes scores with a jab to the head.
Heller takes a body punch but keeps moving. This has been an exciting period of action! Reyes lands a two punch combo.

Reyes uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Heller. Heller throws a jab but it's blocked by Reyes. Nice sprawl there from Reyes as Heller shoots in. Reyes scores with a three punch combo!
Reyes lands a nice hook to Heller's body. Heller takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Reyes lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Heller tries for a takedown but Reyes circles away easily and Reyes counters with a right hand to the body. Reyes's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Reyes duly obliges. Some wild striking there from Reyes.

Good work there by Reyes. A telegraphed right hand from Heller misses the target. Heller misses with a double jab
and Reyes cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Heller falls off balance throwing a combination
and Reyes counters with a right hand to the body. Heller is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Reyes. Heller showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Reyes.
Reyes steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Heller.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reyes connects with a jab. Reyes gets caught flat footed, as Heller shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Reyes looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Heller has gone for a leg lock! Reyes slips out almost immediately though and dives into Heller's guard. Heller being controlled here, momentarily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Reyes pushing down on Heller's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
And that's the end of the fight! Christopher Reyes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Reyes has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
