Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Adalton Junior! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Philip Alekseeva! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alekseeva throws a nice outside leg kick. Junior takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Junior is defended easily by Alekseeva. Junior thows a left - swing and a miss! Junior really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Junior with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Alekseeva to score with a decent uppercut. Alekseeva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A clash of legs there as Junior blocks the low kick. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Alekseeva checks a leg kick. Junior rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Alekseeva counters with a good low kick that Junior was not able to check. Junior shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Alekseeva napping and manages to drive through into side control! Junior wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Alekseeva, who protects the arm well. Junior has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Alekseeva takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Philip Alekseeva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Alekseeva misses with a wild combination.
Junior ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Philip Alekseeva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Junior dives in and grabs Alekseeva's left leg, looking for a takedown. Alekseeva pushes down on Junior's head and hops out. Alekseeva uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Junior has time to react. Alekseeva with a jab. Alekseeva wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Alekseeva scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Junior shoots for a double leg takedown but Alekseeva sprawls well. He's pushed Junior's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Junior is breathing heavily. Alekseeva fails to land with a series of punches.

Junior is rocked! Junior finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Alekseeva's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Junior falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Philip Alekseeva!
