Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sean Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rock Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson throws a sloppy head kick and Lee moves out of range easily.
Lee tries for a takedown but Thompson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Thompson fails to land with a series of punches.
Lee shoots in but no luck this time.
Lee takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Thompson throws a sloppy head kick
and Lee counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Thompson is trying to stand back up but Lee is controlling him
Lee decides to stand and escape the position.
Thompson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Thompson throws a sloppy head kick and Lee moves out of range easily.
Thompson throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Thompson! Lee is out on his feet! Thompson rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Lee is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Lee is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sean Thompson!
