Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Atep Putra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Putra comes to the cage accompanied by Indonesia Raya. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Atep Putra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Justin Quinn! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quinn is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Putra's half guard. Quinn looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Putra with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Quinn lands a nice short elbow. Putra wants to get back to his feet. Quinn lands with a punch from half guard. Putra trying to hold on to Quinn's head to control him but Quinn postures up.
Putra really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Quinn looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Putra pushes Quinn off looking to stand but Quinn dives back in and keeps control.
Quinn is trying to control. Putra wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Quinn working the head and body with strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Quinn lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Putra actively working from the bottom here. Quinn wants to pass to mount but Putra is defending the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quinn looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Putra with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Quinn is keen to just control but Putra is a slippery customer. Putra makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Putra. Putra looking for a guillotine here but Quinn defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Quinn with a nice head shot there. Quinn scoring with some ground and pound. Putra looking for a sweep. Not yet Putra, not yet. Quinn missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Putra controls Quinn momentarily but Quinn frees himself. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Quinn chips away with some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Quinn landing some decent shots from guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Putra keeping moving, preventing Quinn from controlling successfully. Quinn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Putra is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Quinn is aware though and is defending well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Quinn makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Quinn scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Quinn distracts Putra with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Quinn lands a couple of decent looking shots. Putra is looking for a triangle here but Quinn uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Putra is looking for a sweep. Quinn scores with punches from side control. Putra tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Quinn wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quinn creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Putra is not content to let Quinn control the position. Putra on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Putra takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Putra is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Putra looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Quinn working Putra over with strikes. Putra taking some punishment here, with Quinn in his half guard. Putra wants to control but Quinn is keeping busy.

Quinn trying to control from half guard but Putra is working away. Quinn seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Quinn lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Quinn slips a nice elbow through Putra's hands, connecting with Putra's forehead. Putra trying to control here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Putra misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Quinn working over Putra with some ground and pound. Putra looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Justin Quinn dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Putra tries to clinch up. Putra wants to clinch and Quinn counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Putra! Putra is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Putra tries to lock up and control but Quinn gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Quinn lands with some strikes. Putra is looking to improve his position but Quinn isn't that keen on the idea. BOOM! Quinn connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Quinn scoring with strikes but Putra is staying in there. Putra tries to reverse the position but Quinn maintains control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Quinn scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Putra wants to hold on but Quinn pushes him away. Justin Quinn has got the better of the ground game so far. Quinn with shots to the head and body - Putra looks very uncomfortable down there. Quinn connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quinn looking to finish Putra with some ground and pound. This is bad for Putra!
Putra is rocked! Quinn scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Oh Putra is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Quinn postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Putra in real trouble here! The ref calls for Putra to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Justin Quinn!
