Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake Sawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darth Paduwan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paduwan has chosen Bitch as his entrance music. Darth Paduwan is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Sawa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darth Paduwan ! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sawa blocks a head kick by Paduwan .
A head kick misses from Paduwan . Paduwan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Sawa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Paduwan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Paduwan lands a glancing blow to the side of Sawa's head. Paduwan lands a head kick. Sawa smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Paduwan throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Paduwan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sawa swats him away and circles back towards the center. Sawa misses with a head kick.
Sawa shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Paduwan 's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Sawa slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Sawa working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Paduwan stops Sawa from passing to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sawa wants to control but Paduwan is keeping him busy. Sawa advances to full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Paduwan is controlling an arm, preventing Sawa from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Paduwan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sawa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Paduwan has given up his back here. Will Sawa look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Sawa is looking to control Paduwan but Paduwan is wriggling around and keeping busy. Paduwan is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Sawa gets his way!
Paduwan is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Paduwan fending off the submission attempt from Sawa.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sawa has the hooks in. Paduwan is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Paduwan is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Sawa looking to hold on to the position here but Paduwan rolls and ends up regaining guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sawa postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Paduwan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sawa, into his guard. Sawa is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Paduwan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Paduwan slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Paduwan sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Sawa is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Sawa dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Paduwan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Paduwan throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Sawa. Paduwan throws a looping overhand right but Sawa ducks down to avoid it. Paduwan throws a lazy head kick and Sawa counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Sawa misses with an uppercut. Paduwan thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Sawa if he has to take too many more of those.
Darth Paduwan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A chopping leg kick lands by Paduwan . Jab, jab by Paduwan - just one landing. Sawa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paduwan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Paduwan throws a nice head kick!
Paduwan connects with a crisp jab. Paduwan lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Paduwan gets a clinch. Sawa looks to throw an elbow but misses. Paduwan lands a nice elbow. Paduwan breaks the clinch.
Paduwan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Darth Paduwan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Paduwan tries to clinch up but Sawa circles away and keeps his distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Paduwan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sawa moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Paduwan throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Sawa throws a sloppy head kick and Paduwan moves out of range easily. Paduwan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Paduwan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Paduwan throws a body punch but Sawa moves out of range. Sawa takes one on the chin but seems OK.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Paduwan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Paduwan clinches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A frustrated look appears on Sawa's face as he tries to break the clinch. Sawa tries to break free but Paduwan pushes him back against the cage. Sawa has had enough of the clinch but Paduwan keeps him there for the moment. Sawa takes an elbow to the forehead. Sawa is trying to push Paduwan away but Paduwan has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Paduwan comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Paduwan scores a nice knee to the body.
Sawa is trying to break the clinch but Paduwan has him pressed against the cage. Sawa managing to block the knees to the body from Paduwan .

Sawa blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Sawa looks to throw an elbow but misses. Paduwan lands a nice elbow. Paduwan trying to control the position but instead, Sawa has worked for underhooks and has pushed Paduwan into the cage. Paduwan prevents Sawa from breaking the clinch. Paduwan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Paduwan tries to close the distance and clinch but Sawa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Paduwan misses with a head kick.
Sawa moves forwards but Paduwan connects with a nice, crisp jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Darth Paduwan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Sawa shoots in but no luck this time. Paduwan attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. The fighters circling - Paduwan throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Paduwan throws a head kick that misses. A low kick from Sawa misses and Paduwan counters with a nice body shot. Darth Paduwan seems to be getting the better of the standup. Sawa takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Paduwan darts in and clinches Sawa up against the cage. Sawa looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Sawa is looking to control Paduwan 's arms but Paduwan gets an underhook and turns him. Now Sawa has his back to the cage. Paduwan is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Sawa is defending well for now.

Paduwan avoids a wild elbow strike from Sawa. Nice elbow from Paduwan . An uppercut to the body lands inside from Paduwan . Paduwan is looking to control Sawa's arms but Sawa gets an underhook and turns him. Now Paduwan has his back to the cage. Darth Paduwan seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Paduwan pushes Sawa back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Sawa is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Paduwan is defending well for now. Paduwan content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Paduwan lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Paduwan lands a left hand that snaps the head of Sawa backwards. Paduwan blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Sawa avoiding damage as Paduwan throws knees to the body.

Paduwan misses with a wild body shot. Sawa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Paduwan as he jumps to the side.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Paduwan moves into range and connects with a jab. Paduwan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Sawa swats him away and circles back towards the center. Paduwan throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Paduwan is looking to clinch. Paduwan misses with a few strikes there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A slow jab from Paduwan misses its intended target. Paduwan dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sawa. That did some damage!
And that's the end of the fight! Darth Paduwan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Paduwan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
