Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Barreras (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arek Rendziok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barreras comes to the cage accompanied by Hellshock - Walking Death. Rendziok is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Do góry łeb!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Samuel Barreras!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rendziok shoots for a takedown but Barreras saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Rendziok connects with a good right hand that stumbles Barreras. Barreras circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Barreras tries to clinch there but Rendziok circles away.
Barreras keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Barreras tries to land a front kick but Rendziok steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Rendziok misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rendziok.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rendziok. Barreras does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rendziok shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Barreras as he avoids it easily.
Samuel Barreras has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arek Rendziok.

Barreras tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rendziok swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Rendziok shoots in but Barreras avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Barreras throws a wild body kick that Rendziok sees coming a mile off.
Barreras tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Rendziok manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Arek Rendziok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rendziok shoots in for a takedown but Barreras shows good takedown defense.

Rendziok avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Rendziok throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Barreras's waist but Barreras gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rendziok off to one side.
Rendziok misses with an uppercut. Barreras saw that one coming.
Barreras scores with a head kick. Rendziok tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Rendziok shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Barreras but Barreras pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Barreras forces Rendziok back against the cage and clinches.
Rendziok is trying to force a seperation but Barreras has the dominant position.
Barreras lands a nice elbow.
Barreras breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Barreras pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Rendziok ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Barreras tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rendziok swats him away and circles back towards the center.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Barreras gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rendziok to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Rendziok stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barreras swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Barreras wants to stand and escape but Rendziok is having none of it.

Barreras knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rendziok on the ground.

Barreras bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rendziok's guard.
Barreras looking to sit in guard and control but Rendziok gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Barreras is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Barreras preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rendziok wants to control from the top but Barreras keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
