Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom Waits (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Irus Golonka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Waits comes to the cage accompanied by The Last Time. Tom Waits has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Irus Golonka!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Waits thows a body shot but no joy.
Golonka shoots in for a takedown but Waits shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Golonka drops back, looking for a kneebar! Waits looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Waits looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Waits!

Waits dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Golonka. That did some damage!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Waits is looking to wear down Golonka with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Golonka tries to score a power double leg takedown but Waits sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Golonka somewhat.

Golonka is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Waits can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Waits is fighting to break Golonka's control of his arms but Golonka is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Waits throws a strike but Golonka rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Irus Golonka has got the better of the ground game so far.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

I would just about give that final round to Irus Golonka.
I think Golonka has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
