Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Butch Fargo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Pistol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimmy Pistol looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 1, fighting out of London, Butch Fargo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jimmy Pistol!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fargo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Pistol on his heels. He'll look to pass Pistol's guard now, I'm sure.
Pistol looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Fargo is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Fargo has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Fargo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pistol swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Butch Fargo just wasn't active enough.

Fargo shoots in and bounces Pistol off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fargo slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Fargo seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Pistol for as long as he can get away with.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fargo slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
A lull in the action here as Fargo stalls from top position.
Fargo advances to mount.
Fargo works his way to his opponent's back.
Pistol tries to escape the position.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Pistol tries to roll but Fargo sticks to his back.

We're going to have a standup here because Butch Fargo wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Fargo dives in and scores a takedown into Pistol's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pistol can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fargo controls the pace.
Fargo is pushing down on Pistol's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pistol is fighting to maintain full guard but Fargo has managed to sneak the leg through.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fargo passes the guard and advances to mount!
Fargo controlling his opponent.
Fargo fails to advance to Pistol's back.
Fargo controlling the position easily from mount.

Pistol has left one of his arms exposed and Fargo doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Pistol screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Butch Fargo!
