Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Price closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Redmond tries to land knees in the clinch but Price avoids the damage to the body. Redmond working hard to break the clinch. Redmond has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Price uses from the top position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Redmond looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Redmond is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Redmond drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's one minute gone in the round. Price throws a head punch that misses. A short uppercut from Price. Price lands an elbow inside. Price presses Redmond against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Redmond managing to block the knees to the body from Price.
Price avoids a wild elbow strike from Redmond. Price misses with the head strike.
Price looks to throw an elbow but misses. Redmond drags the fight down to the ground.
Price looking to sit in guard and control but Redmond gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Redmond is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Redmond pushes down on Price's leg and manages to get into half guard. Price really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Redmond. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Price is trying to escape back to his feet but Redmond uses the scramble to pass into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Redmond has hold of Price's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Price tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Redmond cranks the arm and Price screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Price, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Cashel Redmond! Cashel Redmond bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
