Easton has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Jason Easton has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Easton slips a jab and a cross from Mendoza.
Easton is breathing heavily.
Mendoza misses with a body shot.
Mendoza misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Easton throws a lazy right hand but Mendoza sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Mendoza throws a right hand that Easton ducks under and follows up with a left that Easton also avoids with ease.
Easton pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Mendoza back to the cage. Easton follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Easton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mendoza moves away.
Mendoza looks to land a combination but Easton avoids it well.

Mendoza lands a jab.

Mendoza swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mendoza throws out a powerful jab.
Easton is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Mendoza moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
