The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Palmeiras fails with the takedown
and Yamamoto counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. O Palmeiras is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Yamamoto throws a series of punches but O Palmeiras avoids them all with ease.
No luck for O Palmeiras with that takedown attempt.
A head kick by Yamamoto misses
and O Palmeiras decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Yamamoto's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Yamamoto connects with a combination that backs up O Palmeiras into the cage. Yamamoto lands a flurry of punches that gets past O Palmeiras's guard. O Palmeiras is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Yamamoto bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
