Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Axe Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nico Parcon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parcon has chosen Remember the name as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

Hammer takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like Axe Hammer has been cut.
Parcon slips a jab and a cross from Hammer.
Parcon moves out of range of the strikes.
Hammer looks to score with a jab to the body but Parcon is just out of range.
Parcon shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hammer napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Parcon is trying to ground and pound but Hammer uses the momentary lack of control by Parcon to regain half guard.

Parcon is trying for a kimura here. Hammer looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Parcon wins by kimura!
