Melendez comes to the cage accompanied by 2Pac ft Notorious B.I.G-If You Ready (Hit Me). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melendez takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Melendez ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hillgrund throws a shot from downtown. Melendez moves away and avoids it.
Hillgrund looks for the body kick but Melendez saw that one coming.
Melendez blocks a jab.
Hillgrund throws the left hand but Melendez avoids the punch easily.
Hillgrund shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Hillgrund misses with a head shot.
Hillgrund punching from mount but Melendez doing a good job of avoiding damage.
BOOM! Hillgrund connects with a massive shot to the dome!
It looks like Gilbert Melendez has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Melendez in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Melendez is rocked!
Hillgrund postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Melendez looks a forlorn figure.
Oh Melendez is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hillgrund looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Melendez covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
