Coleman tries to clinch up
and Coleman is countered with a crisp right hand from Matthews that sends him to the canvas! Matthews follows him to the mat into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Coleman is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Matthews asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Matthews is trying to get an arm triangle but Coleman is defending well.
