Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ben Jammin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Bennett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jammin's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dance Monkey. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bennett fails to land the takedown. Jammin has closed the distance and engaged Bennett in a clinch.

Bennett fails to land the takedown. The fight moves into the clinch position. Jammin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jammin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Jammin trying to mount his opponent but Bennett defends it. Jammin wants to stand up but Bennett has a hold of him and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jammin trying to pass the guard but Bennett defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bennett is not content to let Jammin control the position. Bennett tries to roll over but Jammin keeps him under control. Jammin thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Bennett to regain full guard. Bennett keeping moving, preventing Jammin from controlling successfully.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Bennett has his takedown stuffed and Jammin counters by moving into the clinch. Ben Jammin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Bennett. Jammin jumps guard and drags Bennett to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jammin wants to sweep but no luck. Bennett working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Jammin looking for a sweep. Not yet Jammin, not yet. Jammin can't keep his opponent in guard - Bennett advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Jammin looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bennett is working for a submission of some sort.

Ben Jammin dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jammin shoots in looking for a takedown. Bennett tries to sprawl out of it but Jammin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bennett manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jammin closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Bennett jumps into guard, dragging Jammin to the mat.
Jammin gets to his feet. Bennett looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Jammin scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Bennett trying to control here.
Jammin is looking for a kimura but Bennett is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jammin to get the leverage. Jammin wants to free his trapped foot but Bennett is holding on for dear life with his legs. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bennett tries to roll over but Jammin keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bennett makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bennett. Bennett manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bennett jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jammin manages to avoid the submission attempt. Jammin manages to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jammin tries to roll over but Bennett keeps him under control. Bennett is keen to just control but Jammin is a slippery customer. Jammin is trying to stand.

Bennett stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Jammin to get to his feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jammin. Jammin rushes Bennett and presses him up against the cage. Bennett has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jammin avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Bennett prevents a takedown attempt there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ben Jammin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bennett is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jammin can't fight it off and eventually Bennett manages to take the fight to the floor. Jammin looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jammin wants to hit a switch here but Bennett passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Jammin there!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jammin sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Jammin pushes Bennett off looking to stand but Bennett dives back in and keeps control.

Jammin is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bennett's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bennett's back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Jay Bennett will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jammin decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Jammin circles away from the clinch attempt and Jammin counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Ben Jammin showed his dominance in that final round. Well Jammin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
