Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Imma Armoff!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones tries to clinch but Armoff is having none of it.
Jones has closed the distance and engaged Armoff in a clinch.
Jones is trying to pull guard but Armoff has him pressed against the cage.
Armoff pulls guard successfully.
Jones wants to control from the top but Armoff keeps moving.
Armoff pulls Jones in close to prevent any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Armoff keeping full guard, as Jones tries to pass.
Jones throws an elbow that misses. Armoff uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jones's guard. Nice move by Armoff!
Jones controls Armoff momentarily but Armoff frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Armoff looking to pass the guard.
Jones lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Armoff!
Jones is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
Armoff working to try and regain half guard.
Armoff is squirming around, avoiding Jones's attempts to control the action.
Armoff can't escape the position.
Armoff is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Armoff tries to hold on but Jones postures up.
Armoff is wriggling around trying to escape.
Armoff tries to lock up and control but Jones gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Jones punching from mount but Armoff doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Armoff wants to control but Jones is having none of it.
Armoff sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Armoff moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Armoff is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Jones frees his head nicely. Oh but Armoff has switched to an armbar! Jones is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
