Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donald Duck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Meyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that John Meyer was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Donald Duck! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, John Meyer! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meyer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Duck's waist but Duck gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Meyer off to one side. Jab, jab by Duck - just one landing. Meyer takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Duck fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Donald Duck seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Meyer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Duck swats him away and circles back towards the center. Duck cracks Meyer with a big right hand and Meyer goes down!
Meyer is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Duck has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Meyer is proving hard to escape from. Meyer working for a triangle but Duck defends it easily.
Duck stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's one minute gone in the round. Duck misses with the combination.
Meyer takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Duck lands with a cross. Duck rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Meyer moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Meyer shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Duck counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Meyer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Duck but Duck pushes him off and we're back to square one. Donald Duck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Meyer. Duck looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Duck uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Meyer has time to react. Meyer tries to close the distance and clinch but Duck swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Meyer shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Duck counters with a right hand to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Duck knocks Meyer to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!? Meyer is still in real trouble! Can Duck finish him? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Meyer is looking to regain half guard here but Duck keeps moving and retains side control. Meyer seems to have recovered his senses. Duck has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Duck scores with a crisp jab that stopped Meyer in his tracks. Duck scores with a hook to the body. Meyer takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Meyer misses with a takedown and Duck counters with a straight right hand. Meyer is trying desperately to land a takedown but Duck is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Meyer. Duck throws a leg kick which misses Meyer's front leg but catches the back leg as Meyer tries to avoid it. Duck will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Duck comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Duck misses with a double jab
and Meyer counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Duck! Meyer looks winded!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Meyer swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Duck is now in Meyer's guard. A big mistake from Meyer there, giving up the dominant position! Duck wants to stand but Meyer is controlling his posture from full guard. Duck gets to his feet - Meyer follows without any prompting. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Duck connects with a nice looking jab.
Meyer doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Duck to counter with a crisp jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Donald Duck dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Duck stuffs the takedown. Meyer misses with a takedown attempt and Duck counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Meyer badly! Duck follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Meyer out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Duck finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Donald Duck! Donald Duck decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
