The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Weston rushes King and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Weston tries to break free but King pushes him back against the cage.
King lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
King throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
King comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
King lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Weston wants to break the clinch but can't.
King lands a damaging elbow.
Weston wants to get back to striking at distance but King won't allow it.
Weston working hard to break the clinch.
Weston looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Weston is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
King keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Weston's efforts to push away.
Weston tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. King just stands there and leans against the cage.
Weston is looking to break free of the clinch but King has double underhooks.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

It looks like Dakota Weston has been cut.
Weston has had enough of the clinch but King keeps him there for the moment.

King has Weston pressed against the cage, preventing Weston from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
King lands an elbow inside.
Weston wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but King has him pressed against the cage.
Weston takes an elbow to the forehead.
King can't find room to land a body shot as Weston controls the action.
King lands a left hand that snaps the head of Weston backwards.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. King obliges.

Weston takes an elbow to the temple.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Weston wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but King has him pressed against the cage.
King is pressed up against the cage. Weston has hold of a leg and is looking to drag King down to the mat. King avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Weston looks winded!
Weston avoids a punch combination nicely.
Weston throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Weston shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jermain King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dakota Weston.
King lands a nice looking kick to the body. Weston takes a step back to recover.
King lands a right hook to the body.

King drops Weston with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Weston looks back up at him and smiles so King waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Weston is rocked!
King dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from King! This one is all over!
