Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wreng Jix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Lie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lie is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by we right here. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jix fails with a takedown attempt.
Lie tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Jix is able to avoid easily.
Jix misses with a takedown attempt - Lie sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Lie throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Jix shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lie sprawls well. Lie wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jix gets slowly back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wreng Jix.
