The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christianson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hommer on the side of the head.
Christianson scores with a crisp jab that stopped Hommer in his tracks.
Christianson lands a front kick.
Hommer with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Christianson to score with a decent uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Christianson digs a good hook to Hommer's body.
A jab from Hommer finds it's way through Christianson's defenses.
Christianson is looking to slow Hommer down with leg kicks.
Christianson lands with a nice body punch.
Hommer is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Christianson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Hommer is rocked!
Christianson lands a right hook to the body.
Oh Hommer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Christianson looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Christianson backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Hommer's temple! It sends Hommer violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Christianson celebrates and the doctors try to help Hommer!
