Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Saul Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kendrick Lamar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Saul Po! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kendrick Lamar! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lamar misses with a jab to the body
and Po counters with a right hand to the body. Lamar misses with a left hand and Po counters with a straight right hand. A swing and a miss from Po. Po throws a looping overhand right but Lamar ducks down to avoid it. Po with a jab. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lamar avoids the body shot from Po.
Po fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Lamar closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Po tries to bench press Lamar off him but Lamar keeps the position. The strikes coming from Lamar are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Lamar throwing shots but missing, from side control. Po is trying to work for a sweep but Lamar has mounted him! Po is squirming around, avoiding Lamar's attempts to control the action.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lamar unloading with bombs! Lamar is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Po can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Lamar thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Poor strikes thrown by Lamar there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lamar punishing his opponent with strikes. Lamar in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lamar thowing shots but they're missing. Lamar tries to control but Po wriggling away. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lamar misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Po is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Lamar is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Po to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Po shrugs it off. Lamar lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Po blocking the ground and pound. Lamar looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Po on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Po tries to get out of the position. Lamar throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Po takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lamar has hold of Po's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Po manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
