Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barakat lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Barakat uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Barakat gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Budoy's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Barakat connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Budoy scrambles back to his feet.
Barakat displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Budoy.

Barakat bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Budoy's head backwards.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Budoy looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Budoy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Barakat tries to avoid it but Budoy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Barakat to the ground. Barakat escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Barakat drives through and clinches with Budoy against the cage.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Budoy. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
