Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dane Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy McNulty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cook comes to the cage accompanied by Lifeless by 12 Stones. McNulty is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Enter Sandman by Metallica. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jimmy McNulty was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 2 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Dane Cook! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy McNulty ! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McNulty displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. McNulty tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cook was well out of range. Poor timing from McNulty . McNulty moves into range and connects with a jab. McNulty misses with a head kick.
McNulty tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Cook takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Cook wants to clinch. McNulty jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
McNulty throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cook. Cook throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Cook tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McNulty was well out of range. Poor timing from Cook. McNulty looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Cook swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by McNulty . Cook doesn't manage to clinch there - McNulty circles away.
McNulty gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. McNulty has closed the distance and engaged Cook in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. McNulty working aggressively here.
McNulty wants to stall.
McNulty tries a body shot but Cook blocks it.
McNulty lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Cook backwards. The referee is keeping an eye on Cook - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Cook escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cook throws a hook to the side of McNulty 's head but McNulty sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Cook misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cook swings for the body but McNulty moves out of range.
McNulty tries to work over Cook's front leg with a kick but Cook checks it. McNulty misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McNulty lunges at Cook with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Cook's hand. Cook misses the jab. McNulty uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McNulty tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cook paws at him with a jab and circles away. McNulty showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cook.
Jab by Cook. McNulty throws a front kick that sends Cook stumbling back into the cage. Cook misses the shot to the body. McNulty throws a right hand that Cook ducks under and follows up with a left that Cook also avoids with ease. McNulty is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cook. Cook cracks McNulty with a right hand to the side of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McNulty fails in his attempt to clinch. McNulty swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. McNulty looks to land a left hand but Cook moved out of range nicely. Nice jab there from McNulty . Cook slips under a jab. A cross from Cook lands. Cook getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
McNulty is rocked! McNulty is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Cook just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! McNulty has gone limp and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dane Cook! After winning the bout, Dane Cook thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
