Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Euclides Cunhha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toms Gailitis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cunhha comes to the cage accompanied by Raimundus - Eu quero ver o oco. Gailitis comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Niggas in Paris kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Euclides Cunhha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Toms Gailitis! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cunhha fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gailitis, pushing him back against the cage. Cunhha trying to land knees to the body.
Cunhha turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Cunhha is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gailitis has escaped the position, nice work there. Cunhha wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gailitis, who protects the arm well. Cunhha is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gailitis knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Gailitis can't do much from the bottom here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cunhha postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Gailitis really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cunhha. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Gailitis can't do much from the bottom here. Cunhha looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cunhha tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cunhha has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Cunhha tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Cunhha thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Gailitis knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Cunhha has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Gailitis is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Cunhha yanks on the arm and Gailitis is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Cunhha.
