Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dan Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and charles white (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quinn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Quinn throws a right hand that white ducks under and follows up with a left that white also avoids with ease.
Quinn is looking to clinch but white is avoiding it.
Quinn avoids the body shot from white.
Quinn slips a jab and a cross from white.
Quinn misses with the combination.
white rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Quinn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Quinn wants to clinch up but white keeps it at a distance.
white stuffs the takedown attempt from Quinn. Quinn gets slowly back to his feet.

and Quinn counters with a takedown into side control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
white throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
white throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Quinn has white up against the cage in a clinch.
Quinn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
white throws a series of punches but Quinn moves out of range.
A head kick from Quinn lands but white takes it in his stride.
Quinn slips under a jab from white.
Quinn misses the shot to the body.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Quinn misses with a takedown attempt - white sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

white looks to land a left hand but Quinn moved out of range nicely.
white keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Quinn has hold of white's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and white manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Quinn thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
white is looking to get to half guard.
white tries to hold on but Quinn postures up.
Quinn looking to control but white is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
white tries to reverse the position but Quinn maintains control.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Quinn tries to clinch there but white circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from white.
Quinn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has white pinned against the cage. white gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
white misses with a takedown attempt - Quinn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Quinn looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Quinn is trying to control the action in half guard but white is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Quinn uses his free foot to push down on white's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for white.
white is squirming around, avoiding Quinn's attempts to control the action.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

white keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Quinn wants to take his opponent's back but white doesn't allow it.
Quinn thowing shots but they're missing.
Quinn tries to control but white wriggling away.
Quinn is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. white can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
white keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Quinn has control of white's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and white regains control of the situation pretty easily.
white is looking to improve his position but Quinn isn't that keen on the idea.
Quinn goes for an armbar but white turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from white.

white is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Quinn looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Quinn wants to sweep but no luck.
white stands up over Quinn, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Quinn throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! white escapes and throws Quinn's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Quinn is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
The referee asks white politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. white prefers to stall for the moment though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
white has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Quinn!
white takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
white is working for a guillotine from mount but Quinn frees his head quite easily.
A nice elbow there by white.
Quinn is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Quinn thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Quinn slips a nice elbow through white's hands, connecting with white's forehead.
Quinn is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

white working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Quinn doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Quinn manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Quinn slips nicely into half guard.
Dan Quinn overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Quinn wants to control but white is keeping him busy.
