Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Trainer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fire Kask (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trainer's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Nas - Hate Me Now. Kask has chosen GLADIADOR - Now we are free as his entrance music. Johnny Trainer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Johnny Trainer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fire Kask!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trainer wants to clinch.
Kask circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kask misses with a takedown attempt

and Trainer counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Kask blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Trainer unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Kask is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Kask changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Trainer fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Johnny Trainer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fire Kask.

Trainer moves into the clinch.
Kask takes a knee right on the jaw!
Trainer lands a knee to the head.
A frustrated look appears on Kask's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Trainer is looking to control Kask's arms but Kask gets an underhook and turns him. Now Trainer has his back to the cage.

Trainer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Nice sprawl there from Trainer as Kask shoots in.
Trainer wants to clinch.

Trainer lands a head kick. Kask smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Trainer scores with a jab.
Jab, jab by Trainer - just one landing.
Trainer pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Trainer gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Trainer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Trainer is looking to clinch but Kask is avoiding it.
Trainer thuds his right hand into Kask's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Trainer closes the distance and clinches.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Trainer lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kask tries to pull guard but Trainer forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Kask looks gassed!
Trainer is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Trainer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kask closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Kask goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Trainer has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kask but great work by Trainer.
Kask is looking to regain half guard here but Trainer keeps moving and retains side control.
Kask is not content to let Trainer control the position.
Kask can't do much from the bottom here.
Trainer wants to stand but Kask is controlling his arm.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kask is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Trainer is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kask has escaped the position, nice work there.

Trainer looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Kask is looking to regain half guard here but Trainer keeps moving and retains side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Trainer is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Kask is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Trainer tries to advance to mount but Kask denies him.
Kask is trying to control Trainer's posture but Trainer avoids it.

Trainer swings around for an armbar but Kask sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Trainer's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Trainer working a defensive guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Trainer is working an open guard so Kask takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnny Trainer dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Kask feints and as Trainer raises his hands in defense, Kask changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kask trying to control but Trainer is working from the bottom.
Kask stands and throws Trainer's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Kask decides to stand back up.
Trainer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kask.
Kask fails with a takedown attempt.
Trainer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kask swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kask is breathing heavily.

Kask tries to score a power double leg takedown but Trainer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kask somewhat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kask is defended easily by Trainer.
Johnny Trainer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fire Kask.
Trainer jabs at Kask's body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Trainer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kask takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Trainer throws a one two combo.
Johnny Trainer is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kask dives in and grabs Trainer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Trainer pushes down on Kask's head and hops out.

Trainer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kask shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Trainer pinned against the cage. Trainer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Trainer tries to clinch up but Kask circles away and keeps his distance.
Kask takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kask shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Trainer as he avoids it easily.
Kask walks into a left hand.

Trainer tries to clinch there but Kask circles away.
Johnny Trainer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kask shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Trainer but Trainer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Johnny Trainer is winning the standup battle so far.
Trainer ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kask keeps the fight on the outside.

Trainer drives through and clinches with Kask against the cage.
Trainer tries a knee to the head but Kask blocks it.
Kask is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Trainer gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Kask is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Trainer is defending well for now.
Kask changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Trainer fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Trainer tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kask paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kask keeps the fight on the outside.
Trainer throws a sloppy head kick and Kask moves out of range easily.

Kask shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Trainer's guard.
Kask's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Let's hope that Kask has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Trainer not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kask shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Johnny Trainer will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Trainer throws a head kick but Kask moves out of range.

Kask shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Trainer has one foot on Kask's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Kask manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Trainer on his heels. He'll look to pass Trainer's guard now, I'm sure.
Kask stays in close to Trainer's body and controls the position.
Kask postures up.
Fire Kask has got the better of the ground game so far.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Kask controls from within his opponent's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Trainer takes the fight into the clinch.
Kask is trying to force a seperation but Trainer has the dominant position.
Kask is looking to break free of the clinch but Trainer has double underhooks.
Trainer is trying to stall.
Kask avoids a wild elbow strike from Trainer.

Trainer breaks from the clinch.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Trainer takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Trainer is pressed up against the cage. Kask has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Trainer down to the mat. Trainer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Kask fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Trainer dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
No luck for Kask with that takedown attempt.
Trainer fails with an attempt to clinch.

Kask drives through with a takedown into Trainer's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Trainer pulls Kask in close to prevent any damage.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

I would just about give that final round to Fire Kask.
