Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris bonez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Richard Richardson!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richardson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Richardson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Richardson closes the distance and clinches.
Richardson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
bonez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Richardson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Richardson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent bonez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
bonez takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
bonez throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Good standup being displayed there by Richardson as he connects with a hook.
bonez is rocked!
bonez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Richardson's waist but Richardson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing bonez off to one side.
Oh bonez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
bonez tries to clinch but Richardson moves away
and Richardson counters with a nice body shot.
bonez closes the distance looking to clinch
and Richardson counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops bonez! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Richardson!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Richard Richardson!
