Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Santiago Colon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Harbor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Santiago Colon!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Harbor!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colon avoids the body shot from Harbor.

Colon has Harbor up against the cage in a clinch.
Harbor tries to circle away but Colon has him pinned against the cage.

Colon breaks the clinch.
Harbor shoots in looking for a takedown but Colon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Harbor's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
James Harbor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harbor scores with a crisp jab that stopped Colon in his tracks.

Harbor drives through with a takedown into Colon's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Harbor is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Harbor throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Harbor takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Colon bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Colon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harbor swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Harbor has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Harbor is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Colon moves into range and clinches up with Harbor.

OK we're going to have a standup here. James Harbor hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Colon throws the left hand but Harbor avoids the punch easily.
Colon uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Harbor.

Colon walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Harbor ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Colon moves away.

Harbor throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Colon was covering up waiting for the punch and Harbor finishes the takedown easily into guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Colon holds on and takes a little breather.

Harbor drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Harbor jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Colon controls Harbor momentarily but Harbor frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harbor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Colon swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Colon wants to improve his position but instead Harbor has moved into half guard.
James Harbor has got the better of the ground game so far.
Harbor drops an elbow to the side of Colon's head.

Colon is trying to maintain the position but Harbor is very close to passing his half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

James Harbor showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

We're going to have a standup here because Santiago Colon wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Harbor throws a lazy right hand but Colon sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

No joy there for Harbor, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Harbor walks into a straight right hand from Colon.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Colon!
The crowd cheers as Colon lands an impressive looking overhand right. Harbor doesn't seem phased though.

Harbor shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Colon defends it nicely.
Santiago Colon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Harbor.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Harbor manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Colon on his heels. He'll look to pass Colon's guard now, I'm sure.

Colon feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Harbors jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Harbor shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Colon pinned against the cage. Colon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Harbor shoots in looking for a takedown. Colon tries to sprawl out of it but Harbor keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Colon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Harbor is absolutely dripping with sweat - he looks exhausted.

Colon stuns Harbor with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Harbor on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Harbor looks to land a left hand but Colon moved out of range nicely.
Colon cracks Harbor with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Colon counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Harbor thinking.
Harbor shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Colon sprawls well. Colon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Harbor gets slowly back to his feet.

Colon throws the kick towards the body but Harbor avoids it.
Harbor bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Colon's head.

Colon is looking to wear down Harbor with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Harbor misses with a looping left.
Colon fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Colon scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Harbor looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Colon cracks the inside of Harbor's front leg.

The fighters circle momentarily. Colon darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Colon scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Harbor drops his hands momentarily and Colon takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A left lands for Colon.


Harbor is rocked!
Colon scores with a kick to the midsection.
Harbor is still on wobbly legs! Can Colon finish him?
Colon closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Harbor! Colon dives in looking to finish! Harbor is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 4, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Santiago Colon!
