Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kraken Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Corke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kraken Carter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alan Corke! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Carter enables Corke to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Carter manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Carter preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Corke working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Corke stopping the sweep attempt from Carter. Carter preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Corke looking to pass the guard. Carter throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Corke working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Carter is breathing heavily. Carter keeping moving, preventing Corke from controlling successfully. Corke drops back looking for a leg! Carter is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Carter manages to kick Corke off! Corke jumps back into Carter's guard. Corke trying to control but Carter is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Corke throwing strikes from guard but Carter blocks nicely. Corke trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Carter had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Corke defends it easily. Carter is looking for a triangle but Corke pushes his legs off easily.
Corke chips away with some ground and pound. Corke engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Corke throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Carter works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Corke chips away with some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Corke makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Carter trying to keep a closed guard but Corke is proving a slippery customer.

Corke wants to pass the guard but Carter is keeping the position. Carter is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Corke chips away with some ground and pound. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Corke working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Carter's head. Corke passes easily into side control. Nice work. Carter wants to control but Corke postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Carter is not content to let Corke control the position. Corke lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Carter down.
Corke thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Corke working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Corke tries for a kimura but Carter is defending well. Carter is looking for a sweep. Corke remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Corke tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Corke has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carter wants to get back to his feet. Corke wants to control but Carter is keeping him busy. Corke landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Carter is not content to let Corke control the position. Carter avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Corke. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Carter tries to escape but Corke is in control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alan Corke dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Corke closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Carter tries to get back to half guard but can't. Carter throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Corke throws a nice looking combination but Carter bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Carter on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Kraken Carter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Corke showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Carter.
Nice straight punches there by Corke. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Corke. Corke shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Carter's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Corke trying to control but Carter is working from the bottom. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Corke is looking to work some ground and pound but Carter has wrist control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Corke stands and throws Carter's legs to the side, diving into side control. Corke cracks Carter with an elbow. That is naaassty. Carter tries to get back to half guard but can't. Alan Corke has got the better of the ground game so far. Corke in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Corke moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Corke looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Carter regains half guard. Corke scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Corke with the ground and pound but Carter uses the opportunity to regain guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Corke sitting in guard here, content to control. Corke in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Carter keeping moving, preventing Corke from controlling successfully. Carter is looking for a triangle but Corke pushes his legs off easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Carter keeping full guard, as Corke tries to pass. Corke with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Corke trying to control but Carter is working from the bottom. Corke throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Corke stands up over Carter, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Corke slips nicely into half guard. Carter wants to improve his position but Corke is controlling well.
Carter is refusing to be controlled, as Corke sits in half guard. Corke is nestled in close to Carter, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Corke is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Corke thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Carter is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Corke pulls his head out easily. Carter wants to improve his position but Corke is controlling well.
Corke stops Carter from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Corke slips a nice elbow through Carter's hands, connecting with Carter's forehead. Corke wants to control but Carter is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Corke missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Corke throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Corke in particular looking to stall. Corke working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. This has been an exciting period of action! Corke looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Corke is thwarting Carter's attempts to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alan Corke showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Carter throws an overhand right that lands on Corke's shoulder, as Corke tries to avoid the shot. Carter doesn't manage to clinch there - Corke circles away.

Corke wants to control but Carter is keeping him busy. Carter blocking the ground and pound attempt from Corke. Corke prevents Carter from improving his position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Corke wants to control but Carter is keeping him busy. Corke wants to work for an arm triangle but Carter is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Corke is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Carter has managed to free his arm - good work. Carter is trying to stand back up but Corke is controlling him
Carter pushes Corke off and gets back to his feet. Corke lands a jab. Corke throws a right hand that Carter ducks under and follows up with a left that Carter also avoids with ease. Carter walks into a left hand. Corke gets the takedown into side control. Corke lands a decent elbow from side control. The referee asks Corke politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Corke prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carter is trying to get back to half guard. Carter is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Corke asserts his dominance and retains side control. Corke works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Corke creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Carter sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Corke remains in side control and seems content to stay there. Carter wants to get back to his feet but Corke drags him back down. Corke looks up at the clock and then as Carter takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Corke smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Corke has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Corke working the head with strikes. Corke goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Carter rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Corke's guard! Nice work there by Carter! Carter slips nicely into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Corke wants to control but Carter is keeping busy and won't allow it. Corke wants to sweep but Carter has passed to side control! Corke tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Carter wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Corke tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Carter presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Corke is looking to improve his position but Carter isn't that keen on the idea. Kraken Carter has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Carter landing shots from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Carter. Carter wants to stand but Corke is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.

Alan Corke is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Carter tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. Corke is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Carter manages to capitalize on a mistake by Corke to take his back! Carter looking for the choke from the back. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Corke breaks Carter's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Carter wants to stand up but Corke is controlling him. Corke got a little sloppy there for a moment and Carter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Corke has managed to get both his arms back between Carter's legs - danger averted.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Alan Corke. Well Corke has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
