Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Peter Lowey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Davies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lowey comes into the arena with Land Down Under blaring out of the sound system. Scott Davies told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Peter Lowey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Scott Davies!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davies tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lowey paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lowey fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Davies manages to avoid it.
Davies throws a hook to the side of Lowey's head but Lowey sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Davies throws a nice looking combination but Lowey bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Davies shoots in for a takedown but Lowey shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Decent striking displayed by Lowey there.
Davies will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lowey checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Lowey throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Davies stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lowey feints a jab promting Davies to slip. Lowey then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Davies slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Davies takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Davies is rocked!
Davies looks winded!
Lowey lands a big uppercut and Davies crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Davies looks OK. Lowey waves Davies back to his feet!
Davies is still on wobbly legs! Can Lowey finish him?
Lowey throws a right and a left that Davies avoids nicely.
Lowey connects with a looping right hand.
Davies walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Lowey! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Peter Lowey!
During a confident post fight interview, Peter Lowey thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
