Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yonsil Clanger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crazy Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clanger comes into the arena with Youth Blood blaring out of the sound system. Dog has chosen For U Phoenix Marrizle as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Yonsil Clanger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Crazy Dog!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Luis Engracia and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clanger staying out of range there.
Clanger avoids a punch combination nicely.
Dog throws a big shot that misses.
Nice defenses there by Clanger.
Clanger wants to clinch but Dog slips to the side
letting Dog counter with a right hand.
Dog keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Clanger.
Clanger loads up on a big right hand but Dog slips the punch.
Clanger misses with a hook. Dog ducked under it nicely.
Clanger takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Clanger slaps away a takedown attempt from Dog, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Clanger takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Clanger misses with a looping left.
Clanger throws a chopping leg kick but Dog manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Dog thows a left - swing and a miss!
Yonsil Clanger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clanger misses with a hook. Dog ducked under it nicely.
Clanger throws a jab when Dog was well out of range.
Dog throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Clanger.
Clanger is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Dog's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Clanger drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dog manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Clanger has Dog in his guard.

Clanger might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Dog wants to lay and pray for a moment but Clanger keeps working.

Dog tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dog has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Clanger regains half guard, as Dog was trying to land strikes.
Clanger keeps control of the position for the meantime.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Clanger is looking to control Dog's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Clanger avoid being mounted?

Dog is looking for a kimura but Clanger is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dog to get the leverage.

Dog wants to lay and pray for a moment but Clanger keeps working.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

A close round but Crazy Dog will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Dog walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dog. Clanger does a little dance to reset his feet.

Crazy Dog seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Clanger closes the distance and clinches.

Clanger breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dog looks to score with a jab to the body but Clanger is just out of range.

Clanger misses with a hook. Dog ducked under it nicely.

The crowd cheers as Clanger lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dog doesn't seem phased though.

Dog shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Clanger as he jumps to the side.

Dog might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

That was a close second round but I would say that Yonsil Clanger will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Dog got a little sloppy there for a moment and Clanger has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dog has managed to get both his arms back between Clanger's legs - danger averted.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Clanger holds on and takes a little breather.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Clanger lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dog!
