Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kook Killa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John The Pitbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Pitbull has chosen Three 6 Mafia - It's a Fight as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kook Killa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 22 - 1, fighting out of London, John The Pitbull!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killa misses with the body kick
and The Pitbull counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Killa blocks a head kick by The Pitbull.
The Pitbull ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Killa moves away.
The Pitbull sizes up Killa with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Killa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Killa thows a leg kick but The Pitbull checks it
and The Pitbull counters with a one-two to the body.
The Pitbull connects with a looping right hand.
Killa thuds his shin into the meat of The Pitbull's side.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Killa misses with a leg kick.

The Pitbull closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Killa to the mat! Killa manages to get full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The Pitbull wants to get up but he can't break Killa's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Pitbull avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The Pitbull stands up and waves to Killa to follow him.

A low kick from Killa is predictable there
and The Pitbull counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

The Pitbull rushes Killa and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by The Pitbull.

The Pitbull's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The Pitbull tries to close the distance and clinch but Killa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Killa lands a head kick!


It looks like John The Pitbull has been cut.
Kook Killa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Killa throws an ugly left hook that misses
and The Pitbull connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Killa scores with a leg kick.

Killa throws a half hearted mid kick.
A low kick from Killa is predictable there

and The Pitbull counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Killa!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Killa is looking to get to half guard.

The Pitbull stands up from mount. Strange move.
Killa throws out a leg kick but The Pitbull moves out of range and Killa only half commits.
Killa throws a leg kick that is checked

and The Pitbull counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The Pitbull trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The Pitbull trying to control the position from guard on top but Killa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The Pitbull stands and steps away. Killa gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Kook Killa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

The Pitbull clobbers Killa with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The Pitbull shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Killa pinned against the cage. Killa gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The Pitbull misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Killa swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

The Pitbull has managed to clinch.

The Pitbull breaks the clinch.
Killa finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
The Pitbull looks to land a left hand but Killa moved out of range nicely.
Donk. The Pitbull catches Killa right on the button with a cross.

The Pitbull connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
The Pitbull throws a head kick that misses.
Killa throws a leg kick
and Killa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A low kick from Killa misses
and The Pitbull counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The Pitbull misses with a few strikes there.
That kick from The Pitbull tenderised Killa's leg. Killa is trying to keep his angry face on.
Killa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Killa looks to throw the jab but The Pitbull is out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Killa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Killa connects with the punch.
The Pitbull throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Killa sees it coming and avoids it easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John The Pitbull dominated that round.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Killa pushes The Pitbull away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, The Pitbull gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Killa is trying to improve his position.
The Pitbull wants to lay and pray for a moment but Killa keeps working.
Killa manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

The Pitbull wants to improve his position but Killa is controlling well.

Killa stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Killa fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but The Pitbull is out of range.
Kook Killa is winning the standup battle so far.
The Pitbull tries to clinch there but Killa circles away.
Killa shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
The fighters circle momentarily. The Pitbull darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The Pitbull avoids the head kick by Killa.
The Pitbull's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and The Pitbull duly obliges.
John The Pitbull is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Killa fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt The Pitbull.

and The Pitbull cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Kook Killa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John The Pitbull.

The Pitbull is breathing heavily.
Killa throws a head kick but The Pitbull moves out of range.

John The Pitbull showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


The Pitbull is looking to clinch but Killa is avoiding it.
Killa misses the jab.
The Pitbull tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Killa manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The Pitbull takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Killa connects with a solid leg kick.
The Pitbull takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

The Pitbull would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The Pitbull postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Killa is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of The Pitbull, into his guard.
Kook Killa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The Pitbull looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Killa has picked The Pitbull up and slammed him! The Pitbull can't keep hold of the triangle and Killa manages to pass to side control!

Killa stands up.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Killa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

The Pitbull swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Killa looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Killa has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Killa wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
The Pitbull is looking for a takedown.
Killa wants to get back to striking at distance but The Pitbull won't allow it.

The Pitbull pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A nice leg kick lands there from Killa.
John The Pitbull is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Some bone on bone action there as The Pitbull checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

The Pitbull throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Killa was covering up waiting for the punch and The Pitbull finishes the takedown easily into guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to John The Pitbull.
I've got The Pitbull winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
