Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vadim Lavrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quentin Cane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cane has chosen Rob Zombie - What as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Vadim Lavrov could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Quentin Cane's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vadim Lavrov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
27 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Quentin Cane!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cane shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lavrov counters with a right hand to the body.
Cane walks into a jab.
Cane tries for a takedown but Lavrov circles away easily
and Lavrov counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cane thinking.
Quentin Cane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cane is defended easily by Lavrov.
Vadim Lavrov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quentin Cane.
Lavrov lands with a nice body punch.
Cane closes the distance and clinches up with Lavrov, looking for a takedown. Cane pushes Lavrov against the cage but Lavrov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Cane misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Cane swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cane shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lavrov but Lavrov pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lavrov fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Cane on the side of the head.
Lavrov scores with a jab to the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cane misses with a straight left.
Cane tries for a takedown but Lavrov circles away easily
and Lavrov counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Lavrov lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Cane tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lavrov swivels and escapes.
Cane has his takedown stuffed
letting Lavrov counter with a right hand.
Cane looks winded!
Cane drops his hands momentarily and Lavrov takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Cane fails with the takedown.
Cane walks into a jab.
Cane moves forwards but Lavrov connects with a nice, crisp jab.
A lazy left from Lavrov finds it's target.
Cane is rocked!
Lavrov cracks Cane with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Cane tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Lavrov pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Cane is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vadim Lavrov!
