Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Chopper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Kermodian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kermodian has chosen Arctic Monkeys - Mardy Bum as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Kermodian.
Chopper showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kermodian.

Chopper moves away from the strike by Kermodian.
Kermodian throws a right and a left that Chopper avoids nicely.
Kermodian bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Kermodian connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Chopper on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Kermodian misses with a straight left.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Chopper is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kermodian's half guard.
Chopper wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kermodian keeps working.

Chopper thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kermodian's head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kermodian has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Chopper is working away from the top position though.

Chopper avoids a strike by Kermodian and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Kermodian's guard! Fantastic escape!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kermodian has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That's time! Chopper's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Kermodian shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Chopper but Chopper pushes him off and we're back to square one.

A frustrated look appears on Chopper's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Chopper is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
The referee calls for Kermodian to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Chopper blocks an elbow strike.
Chopper wants to take the fight to the mat but Kermodian manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Kermodian is pressed up against the cage. Chopper has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kermodian down to the mat. Kermodian avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kermodian doesn't manage to clinch there - Chopper circles away.

Tony Chopper has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Chopper enables Kermodian to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Chopper manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

And that's the end of the fight!
Mark Kermodian comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Kermodian winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
