Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Millan Fuentes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Pollak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Millan Fuentes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Robert Pollak! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pollak shoots for a double leg takedown but Fuentes sprawls well. He's pushed Pollak's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Pollak steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fuentes. Fuentes thows a left - swing and a miss! Robert Pollak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pollak fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fuentes avoids it really well and circles away. Pollak scores a takedown into full mount! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Fuentes tries to hold on but Pollak postures up. Fuentes is looking to get to half guard. Fuentes tries to hold on but Pollak postures up. Fuentes tries to reverse the position but Pollak maintains control. Fuentes is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Pollak connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Pollak throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fuentes is in all sorts of trouble here.

Fuentes is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Fuentes takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Fuentes is trying to escape the mount.
Fuentes is working hard here to advance position. Fuentes blocking the ground and pound. Fuentes blocking the ground and pound. Fuentes is looking to get to half guard. Pollak lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Pollak looking to finish Fuentes with some ground and pound. This is bad for Fuentes! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pollak throws a wild left hand from mount and Fuentes manages to wriggle his way back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fuentes manages to get to full guard.
Fuentes avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Pollak wants to control from the top but Fuentes keeps moving. Fuentes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pollak can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Fuentes has his foot on Pollak's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pollak works his way back into a safe position though. Pollak wants to control from the top but Fuentes keeps moving. Pollak really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fuentes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pollak has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fuentes is proving hard to escape from. Pollak throws an elbow that misses. Fuentes uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Pollak's guard. Nice move by Fuentes!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fuentes not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pollak throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pollak is striking from the bottom but Fuentes uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. Pollak is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Pollak punching from the bottom.
Fuentes prevents Pollak from improving his position. Pollak looks gassed! Fuentes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pollak keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fuentes wants to free his trapped foot but Pollak is holding on for dear life with his legs. Pollak is trying to escape back to his feet but Fuentes uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Pollak tries to escape but Fuentes is in control. Fuentes controlling the position from side mount. Fuentes takes advantage of some sloppy striking from Pollak to pass into mount. Fuentes is working for a guillotine from mount but Pollak frees his head quite easily.
This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fuentes sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Robert Pollak will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Pollak tries to clinch up. Pollak pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pollak misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A telegraphed right hand from Pollak misses the target. Pollak moves into range and clinches up with Fuentes. Pollak throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Fuentes drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pollak pulls his leg out and moves away.
Pollak slips a jab from Fuentes. Pollak fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Pollak misses with a series of wild punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pollak shoots for a takedown but Fuentes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Millan Fuentes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Pollak. Pollak is breathing heavily. Fuentes looking to score a takedown here. Pollak is defending well but Fuentes drives through and ends up in Pollak's guard. Fuentes trying to control but Pollak is working from the bottom. Pollak is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Pollak working for submissions but it's allowed Fuentes to get to half guard.
Still in half guard, Fuentes seems content to control. Fuentes's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Fuentes is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Millan Fuentes overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Pollak's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Fuentes takes Pollak's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Pollak is in trouble. A bit of a pause in the action here. Fuentes controlling the positon.
