Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Edwards!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henry darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Henry wants to work for an arm triangle but Edwards is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Henry seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Edwards does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Henry is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Edwards gets back to full guard.
Edwards avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Henry tries to close the distance and clinch but Edwards swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Henry shoots in and drives through. Edwards sprawls well.

Henry has managed to clinch.

Edwards manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Henry is breathing heavily.
Edwards shoots and misses
and Henry counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Henry. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Edwards tries for a kimura but Henry is defending well.
Edwards tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Edwards has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
