Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Freddy Zalapdos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ethan Harris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Freddy Zalapdos! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zalapdos avoids the head kick by Harris.
Horrible takedown by Zalapdos or perhaps it was just good defense by Harris which made him look bad. Zalapdos is looking to clinch. Zalapdos closes the distance looking to clinch and Harris counters with a lovely shot to the body. Harris tries a head kick but it misses.
Harris lands with an uppercut that bounces Zalapdos off the cage and back into range. Zalapdos fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Harris throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Zalapdos shoots in for a takedown but Harris shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Ethan Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Freddy Zalapdos. Zalapdos tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Harris swivels and escapes. A punch combination from Harris misses. Zalapdos misses with a series of wild punches.
No luck for Zalapdos with that takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris thows a body kick. Zalapdos tries to catch it but that hurt him. A head kick misses from Harris. Harris explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Zalapdos looks gassed! Harris shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Zalapdos eats them both and turns towards Harris to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Harris lands with a kick to the ribs.
Zalapdos tries to clinch but Harris moves out of range. Harris really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Harris lands with a right hand. Harris lands a slapping body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Harris lands with a kick to the temple. Zalapdos shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Zalapdos is rocked! Zalapdos takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Zalapdos is still on wobbly legs! Can Harris finish him? Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Harris! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ethan Harris!
