Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gangmo Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Foreman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Gangmo Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 7 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, George Foreman!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foreman avoids the body shot from Lee.

Foreman has closed the distance and engaged Lee in a clinch.

Lee pulls guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Foreman gets to his feet - Lee follows without any prompting.
Foreman lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Lee shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Foreman manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Foreman is looking to stand up but Lee isn't so interested in that idea.

Lee drops back looking for a leg! Foreman is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Foreman manages to kick Lee off! Lee jumps back into Foreman's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Foreman can do anything to dispel that myth.
Foreman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lee is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee is looking to work some ground and pound but Foreman has wrist control.

Lee prevents Foreman from getting back to his feet.
Lee postures up.
Lee in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Foreman is working an open guard so Lee takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Foreman misses with a straight left.
Lee fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Foreman avoids it really well and circles away.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Lee misses with a few strikes there.
Lee displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Foreman throws out the jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lee tries to move into range but Foreman moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Foreman misses with an uppercut.
Foreman bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Foreman displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lee.
Lee misses with a double jab.
Foreman thows a body shot but no joy.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Foreman throws a looping overhand right but Lee ducks down to avoid it.
Foreman lands an overhand right.

Foreman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lee, pushing him back against the cage.
Lee tries to pull guard but Foreman holds him up against the cage and eventually Lee drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gangmo Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lee fails to pull the fight into his guard.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Foreman.

Lee jumps guard and drags Foreman to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Foreman is looking to stand up but Lee won't let him.
Lee being controlled here, momentarily.

Foreman decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lee, up you get!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Foreman smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Lee shoots in and gets a takedown into Foreman's guard.
Foreman wants to stand but Lee is controlling the position.

Lee thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Lee prevents Foreman from getting back to his feet.

Lee is in close to Foreman's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lee prevents Foreman from getting back to his feet.
Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but Foreman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lee tries to free his leg and advance position but Foreman is retaining full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

George Foreman dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Lee throws a shot from downtown. Foreman moves away and avoids it.
Foreman rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Lee counters with a straight right hand.
A telegraphed right hand from Foreman misses the target.
Foreman throws the left hand but Lee avoids the punch easily.
Foreman throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Foreman might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Lee shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Foreman's guard.

Foreman pushes Lee off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Foreman stuffs the takedown attempt from Lee. Lee gets slowly back to his feet.

Lee shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lee fails with the takedown
and Foreman counters with a series of strikes. Lee will be more careful next time no doubt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gangmo Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Foreman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lee somewhat.
Foreman moves in looking to clinch but Lee pushes him off.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lee ducks under a wild hook from Foreman.
George Foreman is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lee avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Foreman but Foreman pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lee fails with the takedown.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lee throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Foreman counter with a right hand.
Foreman fails in his attempt to clinch.
Foreman throws an overhand right that lands on Lee's shoulder, as Lee tries to avoid the shot.
Foreman blocks a jab.
Foreman bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lee's head.
Foreman thows a left - swing and a miss!

Lee shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Lee prevents Foreman from getting the reversal.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lee punching from mount but Foreman doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Lee looking to finish with strikes here!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Foreman regains half guard.

Lee is looking for a kimura but Foreman is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lee to get the leverage.

Lee maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Foreman could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Lee has cracked it and Foreman is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Lee!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Gangmo Lee!
