Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hata decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Hata is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Moto has managed to free his arm - good work.
Moto tries to get to full guard but Hata has control of the leg.
Hata is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Moto is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hata's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hata's back!

Moto is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Hata knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Hata for a finish.

Hata bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Moto's guard.

Hata has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Moto defend it? Hata steps over the head and cranks it - Moto is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Hata!
