Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Loveladdy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirill Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loveladdy comes to the cage accompanied by PANTERA - F*CKING HOSTILE. Petrov has chosen Iron Man as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

With a record of 17 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Forrest Loveladdy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kirill Petrov!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov checks a low kick from Loveladdy.
Petrov slips a straight right by Loveladdy.
Forrest Loveladdy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Petrov takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Petrov avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Petrov counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Petrov.
Loveladdy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Petrov manages to get himself to full guard.
Loveladdy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Petrov takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Petrov shoots for a double leg takedown but Loveladdy sprawls well. He's pushed Petrov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Loveladdy lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Loveladdy throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Petrov does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Loveladdy throws a wild body kick that Petrov sees coming a mile off.
Loveladdy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Petrov paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Petrov dives in and grabs Loveladdy's left leg, looking for a takedown. Loveladdy pushes down on Petrov's head and hops out.

Petrov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Petrov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Loveladdy is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Petrov misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Loveladdy is bucking up trying to escape but Petrov cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Loveladdy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Petrov seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Loveladdy has recovered full guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Petrov takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Petrov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Loveladdy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Petrov somewhat.

You can see the frustration on Petrov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Loveladdy decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Petrov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Loveladdy has time to react.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Loveladdy throws the left hand but Petrov avoids the punch easily.
Loveladdy fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Petrov has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Loveladdy manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Petrov on his heels. He'll look to pass Petrov's guard now, I'm sure.

Loveladdy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
