Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Julio Driggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hy Wiener (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wiener has chosen Fok Julle Naaiers as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The key to victory for Julio Driggs has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Julio Driggs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hy Wiener! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Driggs looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Wiener lands a leg kick that knocks Driggs off balance momentarily. Driggs tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wiener paws at him with a jab and circles away. Wiener connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Driggs connects with an inside leg kick. Wiener rushes Driggs and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Driggs is trying to stall.
Driggs working aggressively here.
Wiener blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Driggs just misses with a elbow thrown towards Wiener's brow. Wiener prevents a body shot from Driggs. Wiener scores with a shot to the side of Driggs's head. Wiener creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. A battle for position here, against the cage. Driggs lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Wiener is trying to stall.
Driggs swings away with an uppercut that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wiener manages to pull guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Driggs wanted to stand there but Wiener had control of the position. Wiener trying to control the position.
Driggs wants to stand but Wiener is controlling his posture from full guard. Wiener not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Driggs trying to control but Wiener is working from the bottom. Driggs not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Julio Driggs just wasn't active enough. Wiener takes one to the chin there. Wiener has closed the distance and engaged Driggs in a clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Wiener misses with the head strike.
Driggs slowing the pace effectively. Driggs scores with a hook to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wiener fails to pull guard.

Wiener breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Driggs lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Driggs ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A decent looking body kick lands there for Driggs. Wiener misses with a looping left. Wiener throws a head kick but Driggs moves out of range.
A lazy left from Driggs finds it's target. Driggs scores with a shot to the body.
Wiener throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Driggs counters with a nice uppercut. The crowd cheers as Driggs lands an impressive looking overhand right. Wiener doesn't seem phased though. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Driggs blocks a head kick by Wiener.
Hy Wiener seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A decent looking body kick lands there for Driggs. Wiener takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Wiener misses with a looping right. Wiener swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Driggs counters with an inside leg kick. Wiener looks winded! Driggs turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Driggs throws a shot to the body.
Julio Driggs is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Driggs lands a nice shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Driggs connects with a body shot that sends Wiener's belly button to the back. A cross from Driggs lands. Nice cross by Driggs.
Wiener is rocked! Driggs closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Wiener! Driggs dives in looking to finish! Wiener is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
