The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swick misses with a jab, cross combination.
Swick moves away from the strike by Ned.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Swick, as that shot connected.
Ned ducks right into an uppercut from Swick.
Ned shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Swick pinned against the cage. Swick gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Swick fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Ned fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Swick lands an overhand right.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Swick lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Ned changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Swick tries to avoid it but Ned manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Swick to the ground. Swick escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Clark Swick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Swick, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
