Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Zoldye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Blanka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zoldye comes to the cage accompanied by Taiyou Wa Yoru Mo Kagayaku. Jose Blanka told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zoldye throws a sloppy head kick
and Blanka counters with an inside leg kick.

Blanka comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Blanka takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Blanka crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Zoldye - the referee stops the clock and Blanka gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Zoldye. Blanka manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Well Blanka has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
