The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lifflander tries to bum rush Turczycki with a series of wild strikes but Turczycki uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lifflander looks to land a combination but Turczycki avoids it well.
Lifflander keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Turczycki bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
