Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tuaisiala Mirapthlak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rambo Kawajiri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kawajiri has chosen Ninja as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tuaisiala Mirapthlak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rambo Kawajiri! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mirapthlak closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kawajiri to the mat! Kawajiri manages to get full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kawajiri pulls Mirapthlak in close to prevent any damage. Kawajiri controls Mirapthlak momentarily but Mirapthlak frees himself. Kawajiri avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kawajiri has his hands on Mirapthlak's head, controlling the position. Mirapthlak postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kawajiri preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Kawajiri pushes Mirapthlak off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Kawajiri fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mirapthlak to the ground. Kawajiri is now in Mirapthlak's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mirapthlak is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Kawajiri trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

Kawajiri wants to control but Mirapthlak is having none of it. Kawajiri tries to reverse the position but Mirapthlak maintains control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mirapthlak throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Mirapthlak unloads with some shots from mount but Kawajiri bucks and avoids them well.

Mirapthlak thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Kawajiri tries to hold on but Mirapthlak postures up. Kawajiri is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mirapthlak won't let Kawajiri get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Mirapthlak looking to finish Kawajiri with some ground and pound. This is bad for Kawajiri! Mirapthlak sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Kawajiri is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Mirapthlak with good strikes from the mount here! Mirapthlak goes for an armbar but Kawajiri turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Kawajiri. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kawajiri slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kawajiri wants to pass the guard but Mirapthlak is keeping the position. Mirapthlak working a defensive guard here.
Kawajiri wants to control from the top but Mirapthlak keeps moving. Kawajiri gets to his feet - Mirapthlak follows without any prompting. Mirapthlak shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Mirapthlak is trying to control. Kawajiri wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mirapthlak thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kawajiri's head. Mirapthlak is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kawajiri doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mirapthlak. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kawajiri takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Kawajiri is adopting a defensive guard. Kawajiri manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mirapthlak manages to get himself to full guard.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mirapthlak controls Kawajiri momentarily but Kawajiri frees himself. Kawajiri must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kawajiri looking to pass the guard. Mirapthlak is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Mirapthlak has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rambo Kawajiri. Mirapthlak doesn't manage to clinch there - Kawajiri circles away.

A close second round but Rambo Kawajiri will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Mirapthlak's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Mirapthlak looks to score with a jab to the body but Kawajiri is just out of range. Mirapthlak fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kawajiri manages to avoid it. Kawajiri drives through and clinches with Mirapthlak against the cage.

Kawajiri wants to control from the top but Mirapthlak keeps moving. Mirapthlak is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kawajiri postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Mirapthlak keeping moving, preventing Kawajiri from controlling successfully. Mirapthlak looking for a guillotine here but Kawajiri defends easily.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tuaisiala Mirapthlak. I think Mirapthlak has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
